In the K-pop industry, idol singers often appear in each other’s music videos to gain more public attention. The following is the list of girl group singers who have made appearances in major stars’ music videos.
1. Jung Chae-Yeon
DIA’s Jung Chae-yeon has by far the most MV cross-over appearances.
Jung was in Kim Hee-chul and Kim Jung-mo‘s “Ulsanbawi” music video as the celebrity Kim Hee-chul worships.
Kim Hee-cul himself cast Jung for this video.
Jung was also the muse for Dindin in the music video for his song, “Super Super Lonely.”
For this song, Jung plays Dindin’s ideal woman whom he fantasizes over.
It‘s not only the male singers Jung collaborates with.
She was also in the music video for her former “Produce 101” co-stars Cathy, Somi, Yoojung and Chungha’s collaborative song, “Flower, Wind, and You.”
Aside from appearing in the music videos of top stars, Jung took center stage in the MV for DIA’s latest hit “Will you go out with me.”
Red Velvet‘s Irene also took part in a number of music videos where she impressed fans.
Irene was in Henry’s “1-4-3 (I love you)” as the girl he tries to woo.
In Kyuhyun‘s “At Gwanghwamun,” Irene appears at the finale of the forlorn love song, sitting expressionless on a white bed.
Most recently, Irene was the main star in Red Velvet’s latest production, “Would U.”
3. Son Na-Eun
Apink's Son Na-eun was one of the star-studded cast members in SPEED’s “Sad Promise.” Son played the role of a female student during the Gwangju Massacre.
In Victon‘s “I’m Fine” music video, Son plays the major female role who is the center of the attention among the seven Victon singers.
Son just finished filming a music video for a song off Psy’s upcoming album.
She also has a strong presence in Apink’s latest song, “Always.”
