K-pop girl group Apink wished fans a merry Christmas in Japan, via Naver’s V app live on Sunday. The six-member group said they were in Japan for work, but they wanted to communicate with Korean fans and celebrate Christmas.
“We are pink Santas today. We are wearing Santa costumes,” Bomi told fans, while Namju sang behind her. Holding the camera, Bomi went around the room to show the rest of the group. “Merry Christmas!” said Hayoung, who was having curry for dinner. “I wish you guys have a great day today, watching movies and hanging out with friends.”
Each member also sang parts of their new album that released Dec. 15, “Dear.”
Naeun was watching a Korean drama, “The Legend of the Blue Sea.”
Chorong tried some camera filters and went to Namju again, giving her a moustache and sunglasses via the filter.
“You are so cute right now, I’ve put on a really nice filter for you,” Chorong said.
Namju posed for the camera while enjoying a chocolate pastry.
Soloist Hwang Chi-yeul revealed that his New Year’s plan is to release an album containing songs he wrote, on Naver’s V app live broadcast Sunday. Asking fans what their resolutions were, he said he wished to make a new album with songs he has written over the past years.
He also said he wants to wrap this year up by spending some time alone. “This year has been a great year with a lot of great memories,” he said. “I also plan to study more Chinese.”
He said he loves doing a New Year’s concert.
“It is really fun and joyful for me to hold a concert and communicate with the fans,” he revealed.
In a separate broadcast, he also said he would be boyfriends to the fans, talking to viewers as if he were.
“See you in your dreams,” he said, blowing kisses.
