B2ST's Hyunseung recently was featured in an interview where he had a chance to discuss his future as a singer and who he finds inspiration from! He was asked the question, "What kind of artist do you want to be remembered as?" to which he answered, "To be the real deal after I turn 30. I didn't know before, but as I've turned 27 (25 internationally) and I'm getting closer to 30, I'm getting a reality check. So I've been thinking a lot about not what I'm doing now, but what I'm capable of doing. I've thought a lot about what I should do while I'm alive, but then why am I worrying? My conclusion is that I want to sing and dance even after I'm 30."
Hyunseung then said, "I can't sing and dance forever, and I don't want to fall into acting because I can't help it but I want to try it naturally. And for people to listen to my songs when I release an album and to come to see my performances. My goal is to become a singer who will still be active even as I get older. Personally, I think J.Y. Park is amazing."
Upon being asked about what kinds of music he wishes to create as a solo artist he replied, "Instead of music that most people prefer and are comfortable with, I want to be a little stubborn and try 'mania' music. The base of my character is hip-hop and R&B, but I want to try mania music and satisfy people's hearts with it. I want to try music that will receive applause from both the public and supporters."
