BLACKPINK's Jennie to go solo; Yang Hyun Suk addresses the fans' concerns for BLACKPINK's future

On October 17th, it was reported the BLACKPINK's Jennie might be making her solo debut in November! It was thought that she had completed filming her MV for her solo debut during her trip to Europe. Jennie will mark the first BLACKPINK member to go solo. 

With the news of Jennie going solo, CEO Yang Hyun Suk took to Instagram in order to clear up some of the fans' misunderstanding or worries of BLACKPINK's future: "We are simultaneously working on new BLACKPINK songs as well as solo projects for all four members. Jennie will be the first member to go solo, with Rose following second. The biggest strength of BLACKPINK is that each member's ability as a solo artist is as strong as their teamwork."
