Boy band BTS bagged their first win in a music program with newest release “Blood, Sweat & Tears,” Wednesday. “The more we win trophies, the more we realize a trophy’s gravity,” said Junggook via the band’s Twitter account after the victory. “We would need more strength to lift something heavier.”

BTS vied for the top notch in MBC Music‘s “Show! Champion” with contenders including boy band SHINee’s “1 of 1,” ballad duo Davichi‘s “Beside Me” and ballad singer Park Hyo-shin’s “Breath.”

Besides the lead track “Blood, Sweat & Tears,” BTS performed “Am I Wrong” and “21st Century Girl,” all off “Wings,” which was released Oct. 9.

BTS has recently been in the international spotlight, having become the first K-pop boy band to be listed on the main “Billboard 200” chart for three consecutive releases. It took the No. 26 spot, the highest ever reached by a Korean act.
