BTS & TWICE affected by conflict between governments of Korea & Japan

Sad news for BTS, TWICE, and they're Japanese fans - the two groups may not be able to attend Japanese music festival 'Kohaku Uta Gasen.'
The ongoing conflict between the South Korean and Japanese governments - especially over the sensitive topic of Japan's use 'comfort women' during World War II - may Korea's two most popular groups from attending Japan's large festival at the end of this year. The festival 'Kohaku Uta Gassen', hosted by Japanese media station 'NHK' is supposed to occur towards the end of this year, but due to Japan's protest of the South Korean Supreme Court's ruling against a Japanese company for forced labor of Koreans during WWI, BTS and TWICE are unlikey to attend the festival to avoid any political backlash for either of the groups or for NHK, that would accompany attending. It is even more unforunate as both groups released Japanese tracks and performed concerts in Japan earlier this year. In addition TWICE has three Japanese members.
