BTS’ agency Big Hit Entertainment announced on February 29th that V would be making his debut in acting! He will be cast for the upcoming historical drama “Hwarang: The Beginning” on KBS 2TV. V will be making his acting debut under his government issued legal name, Kim Tae Hyung. The drama will be airing sometime in the second half of this year.
The drama takes place in the Silla dynasty days, and V will be playing the role of Han Sung, the grandson of Suk Hyun Jae who challenges the Sille imperial family. The drama “Hwarang: The Beginning” will be about love, passion, adventure, and camaraderie between a group of elite young men living in the Silla dynasty. The drama genre is classified as a “Youth Historical Drama”.
Kim Tae-hyung also known as V is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Bangtan Boys.
