BTS has announced that they will make their return to Korea today (December 28th) for Suga and V’s medical checkup. The condition of the two had caused some worry amongst the group, and they even cancelled their Japanese shows on December 27th and 28th. Initial CT scans showed that there was nothing wrong with the two, but regardless they will be receiving closer checkups in Korean hospitals after they’ve made their return.
Big Hit Entertainment commented, "We don't know yet what will happen to their appearance at the end of the year shows." BTS was scheduled to attend the KBS event “Gayo Festival” on December 30th, and then MBC’s “Gayo Daejaejeon” on December 31st. With the worrisome condition of Suga and V however, the group might appear as an incomplete group or not show up at all.
Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, is a seven-member South Korean boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment. They debuted on June 13, 2013 with the song "No More Dream". The name of the band, Bangtan Sonyeondan, is a combination of "방탄" which means bulletproof and "소년단" which means boy scouts.
