Children on South Korean Conglomerates Own Nearly W100 Billion in Stocks

The children of conglomerate owners hold nearly W100 billion in stocks. According to data from the Fair Trade Commission, 39 children from 15 conglomerates own $81.4 million in stocks.cc



Big business owners often transfer their stocks to their offspring through donations and trusts. GS topped the list with six of the owners' children holding over $60 million worth of stocks. They were followed by an heir from KCC and three from Doosan.
