South Korean heart throb So Ji Sub is currently unable to get permission into entry into China to hold his fan meet. He's planning to have a fan meeting tour in Asia to commemorate his 20th anniversary since debut. Originally, he had been planning since January for a fan meeting in Guangzhou in April, but right now those plans are up in the air.
The agency planning his fan meeting said, "In China, events sometimes get delayed or canceled. However, this fan meeting was planned earlier on, so we didn't have any kind of problems before." The agency is guessing that this is another rebuttal against THAAD, and said, "The situation worsened, so the fan meeting may be canceled entirely."
So Ji Sub is a South Korean actor. After making his entertainment debut as a jeans model, he became known for his leading roles in the television series I'm Sorry, I Love You (2004), Cain and Abel (2009), Phantom (2012) and Master's Sun (2013) as well as the film Rough Cut (2008). So has also released several hip-hop EPs. He changed his common character image in 2013 after his hit drama Master's Sun, from his usual melodrama roles to a romantic-comedy one.
