CL Becomes fist Korean Female Solo Artist to Debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart

K pop artist CL is the first South Korean female solo artist to debut on the Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. Her first single in the U.S., "Lifted" entered the chart at No. 94 on the October 22 weekly chart. CL performed "Lifted" on "The Late Late Show with James Cordon," adding to the hype and excitement surrounding her US debut.
Chaelin Lee, better known by her stage name CL, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper and model. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she spent much of her early life in Japan and France. She trained in JYP Entertainment before joining YG Entertainment, and became a member of the girl group 2NE1.
