A Chinese corporation seems to be interested in taking part of the K-pop industry, as it has been reported that Cube Entertainment may receive a very generous investment! The reports stated that Cube Entertainment’s parent company C&M had several meetings with a Chinese investor, and details regarding the meetings have been scarce.

Online media company Money Today has announced that the investment might be around 100 billion KRW (approx. $80 Million USD), and after having stepped up music copyright laws beginning July 2015, the music industry of China may see some big changes.

Agencies like SM Entertainment and FNC Entertainment already are partnered up with Chinese investments, and it seems like this will be a going trend for now. What are your thoughts about China and Korea teaming up for K-pop?
