The South Korean government has installed Ebola detection devices at the joint-Korean Kaesong Industrial Park in the North. Seoul's unification and health ministries say three thermal scanners have been set up on the North Korean side of the immigration office following a request from the North late last month.
South Korean officials will train North Korean staff at the park how to operate the devices. The machines, which cost more than US$13,000 each, will be lent to North Korea free of charge.
