K pop girl group EXID has made an appearance on the most recent episode of the music variety show Immortal Song 2. Immortal Song 2 is a South Korean television music competition program presented by Shin Dong-yup. It is a revival of Immortal Songs (2007–2009), and features idol singers performing songs of legendary singers. The singers perform in front of an audience who vote for who they believe best presented the classic songs.
EXID members rocked out to Uhm Jung Hwa’s hit song ‘Poison’. EXID said, "Though it was difficult to get three of our parts together as two members (Junghwa and Hani) aren't here, I think that we'll do well." Rather than Uhm Jung Hwa's sexy original, the girls of EXID made it into their own bright, cheery style, which the crowd loved.
EXID is a five-member South Korean girl group, composed of Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Junghwa. They debuted on February 16, 2012 with the release of "Holla". The quintet released their first EP Hippity Hop in August 2012, but it was met with limited success. Their 2014 single "Up & Down", however, reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after its initial release.
