Kicking off the week on Monday’s Naver V app lineup was girl group EXID, tuning in from backstage at the SBS Music Awards Festival. The ladies of EXID attended the event without their team leader Solji as it was announced last week that she is taking a temporary hiatus from all her performing activities after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, according to the group’s agency Banana Culture Entertainment.
“I feel her absence a lot,” said the members.
“Solji is doing well. She is resting at home, thinking of us and thinking of our fans,” said Seo Hye-rin.
The ladies went on to talk about their upcoming performance and the music festival, as well as encouraging viewers to take care of their health in light of the low temperatures and the ongoing health issues arising from the countries avian flu outbreak.
Also in yesterday’s lineup was the members of K-pop boy band Infinite, who also tuned in from backstage at the SBS Music Awards Festival.
The guys sat casually and discussed their rehearsals for their upcoming performance as well as sharing how they each spent the Christmas holiday.
“Something amazing happened on Christmas,” said group leader Kim Sung-gyu.
“Sung-yeol lost his cellphone,” Kim added, to which member Sung-yeol lifted his arms in fake excitement, trying to mask his pain.
“If you found it, please contact him soon,” the other members chimed in jokingly. “Please contact us.”
Tuesday V app also saw singer-actor Seo In-guk stepping back into the limelight, releasing a teaser clip of his upcoming new single, “Bebe.”
The ladies of Twice took time to greet fans and wished everyone a merry Christmas, adding the group was unable to do much celebrating on the holiday because they had to work.
