EXID’s Hani Will Be On Temporary Hiatus to Treat Enteritis

EXID member Hani has announced that she will be taking a temporary leave from the entertainment industry to take a break as well as finding treatment for her enteritis (inflammation of the intestine). The announcement was made on February 27th through Yedang Entertainment who stated, "Hani has decided to take a much-needed time off after a whirlwind of activities, since EXID's 'Up & Down' gained fame in the latter half of 2014."
Hani’s final recording of the SBS show “Baek Jong Won’s Top 3 Chefs” will be on February 27th, and she will return to the program as an MC after about a month. In regards to her absence from the show, Yedang also added, "Hani plans to return to the program as an MC as fast as possible, since the staff members have been generous enough to provide her with some time off."
Ahn Hee-yeon (born May 1, 1992), better known by her stage name Hani, is a South Korean idol singer and television personality. She is known as a member of the South Korean girl group EXID and its subgroup, Dasoni. She was also a cast member in several variety shows such as Off to School, Crime Scene and A Style for You.
