Family of Choo Sarang Donates $48,100 USD to Families of Sewol Victims

Choo Sarang's family lived up to their "Superman" name by making a generous donation to the families and friends of the Sewol victims.

According to Ansan Welfare Plan Division interviewed by Star News, Choo Sarang's family (Choo Sung Hoon, Yano Shiho, and Choo Sarang) made a total donation of 50 million KRW, or $48,100 USD, to the families and friends afflicted by the Sewol tragedy.

A representative commented, "It will be given to 19 basic livelihood security recipients among the victims of the Sewol accident (survivors, missing, and dead)."


A representative from Choo Sung Hoon's agency, Bonboo Entertainment, added "Choo Sung Hoon's family has been very hurt by this accident. They wanted to help somehow... Choo Sung Hoon and his wife Yano Shiho's hearts were hurting and they readily agreed on this donation."


In related news, the filming and airing of the "Superman is Back" show will be on hold until further notice.
