Far East Movement’s newest album Identity has collaborations with some of the hottest k pop stars in the industry today. Identity drops in full worldwide on Oct. 21. Other standout collaborators include Tiffany of K-pop superstars Girls’ Generation, the U.K.’s “Never Forget You” singer-producer MNEK, Korean-American MC Jay Park, Mississippi rapper-producer Big K.R.I.T., Hyolyn of K-pop hitmakers Sistar, veteran soul siren Macy Gray, groundbreaking Korean rapper-singer Yoonmirae, viral MC Soulja Boy, K-R&B act Urban Zapaka, and many more.
Far East Movement is an American hip hop-EDM group based in Los Angeles. The group formed in 2003 and consists of Kev Nish (Kevin Nishimura), Prohgress (James Roh), J-Splif (Jae Choung) and DJ Virman (Virman Coquia). Their single "Like a G6", featuring pop-rap duo The Cataracs and singer Dev hit number one on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and on the iTunes chart in late October 2010, making them the first Asian-American group to earn a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The 2012 remix song "Get Up (Rattle)" by the Bingo Players, on which they were featured, was also a worldwide hit.
