There has been strong opposition recently in relation to the popularity of idol audition programs in the likes of 'Produce 101' as well as 'The Unit'. The Korean Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers made a strong stance against the continuance of these idol audition programs. The Korean Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers claim that broadcasting stations receive too much authority and power, which ultimately takes away from the management companies of the idols as well as production from individual labels.

The Korean Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers claimed that only the big entertainment labels in the likes of JYP, SM, and YG Entertainments would remain. Essentially the production part will be handed over to CJ E&M, ultimately making them a huge monopoly no one could battle against.

What do you think of their stance? Do they make a good point?
