K-pop girl group GFriend took to the V app Monday to connect with fans in Santa Monica. The group finished their performance at KCON 2016 and were enjoying a bit of free time at the Santa Monica beach. GFriend started by updating fans about their schedule and then proceeded to walk around the beach. While walking around, the girls tried to catch some Pokemon.
The group also told fans that it was very liberating to be able to freely walk in public, which they do not have the time and privacy to do in Korea. While walking around, some foreign fans recognized the girls and asked for a photo together. GFriend was honored to be recognized and thanked the fans for their support.
The video ended with two of the women striking comic poses and thanking fans for watching. Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
