After having announced Girls' Generation, 2NE1, and A Pink as the most popular girl groups of 2014, Gaon Chart has now released the top boy groups in terms of sales for 2014!

In order to study the data, Gaon Chart organized three separate charts: the first being the boy groups' digital song sales, the second comparing album sales, and the third showing overall sales.

According to the data collected by Gaon, Big Bang shows an impressive first place in terms of digital song sales. Even though Big Bang did not have any group activities or releases this past year, Taeyang's solo album "RISE" sales as well as his collaboration track with G-Dragon for "Good Boy" were more than ample enough to grant the Big Bang members the top spot.

Second place was taken by B2ST, who saw a lot of success with their "Time" album. Rookie group WINNER impressed their way into third place with their successful debut with "Empty" from their "2014 S/S" album.
