Golfer Park In-bee will begin competing again after several months of rehab.
The former world No. 1 appeared at a promotional event for one of her sponsors Dunlop Sports in Seoul on Tuesday and announced her plans. She will make a return at the Honda LPGA Thailand match, which is slated for late this month.
"I won't rush into anything but I believe I will be able to reclaim the top spot again if I work hard while focusing on winning major titles," Park said. "I trained in Las Vegas for seven weeks in preparation for this season and I feel fully recovered."
Her regimen included tennis, badminton and stretching.
Park is known for her grit in the face of obstacles and injuries. Last year, she competed in only 10 LPGA events and dropped to 11th in the world rankings.
