Park In-bee is just one competition away from being inducted to the KLPGA Tour Hall of Fame. "Once Park competes in the KB Financial Star Championship which kicks off on Thursday, she will have enough points to be honored as a Hall of Famer," the KLPGA said on Tuesday.
Park will be the fourth inductee to the KLPGA Hall of Fame, after late Ku Ok-hee, Pak Se-ri and Shin Ji-yai.
Park has amassed 18 wins on the U.S. LPGA Tour, including seven majors, and won the Olympic gold medal in Rio de Janeiro last year.
She took the world’s top spot many times since 2013, and was inducted to the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame in June last year. However, she has yet to win a title in the KLPGA, making her the only golfer in the Hall of Fame without one.
