How Much Did SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment Earn?

The numbers are in for Korea’s “Big 3 Entertainment” Companies.  The Big 3 Entertainment companies are SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment. 

In the year 2013, SM Entertainment earned a staggering W270 billion or about $260 million US.  That figure nearly doubles their revenues from two years prior in the year 2011, which was W140 billion. 

YG Entertainment saw an increase of about 49% in revenue for the 2013 year.  In 2013, YG Entertainment posted earnings of W120 billion or about $110 million.  In 2011 they posted earnings of W78 billion. 

JYP Entertainment came in third place with earnings of W21 billion or about $20 million US.  What are your thoughts?  Is k pop going to continue to grow?
