Hur Mi-jung earned her first ever wire-to-wire win at the Indy Women in Tech Championship on the LPGA Tour on Sunday.
Hur finished the four-day tournament with a 21-under 267 to pick up the trophy at Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was four strokes ahead of runner-up Nanna Koerstz Madsen of Denmark and never gave up the lead she established on day one.
It is her second title of the season in seven weeks after the Ladies Scottish Open on Aug. 11.
Following her maiden LPGA title at the Safeway Classic in 2009, it took her five years to pick up her second win at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in 2014 and another five years was needed to grab her third title in Scotland in August.
Hur is the sixth multi-title winner so far this season, joining Ko Jin-young, who has four titles, and Kim Sei-young, Park Sung-hyun, Hannah Green of Australia and Brooke Henderson of Canada, who have two each.
