K pop boy group IMFACT celebrated Korea’s White Day with an event at local high schools. This special event was announced on IMFACT's official SNS on March 9. It asked fans to write why they want their schools to be chosen for the event as well as their thoughts on the new semester. As a result, IMFACT visited a total of four lucky schools for a guerrilla concert and White Day event on March 14. The boys performed their song "Lollipop" and "Trouble Maker" and also provided various fun performances, such as G-Friend's "Rough", for more than 1000 fans.
In South Korea, White Day is also observed as a day for men to give women sweets, as a sort of repayment for the gifts women gave on Valentine's Day (usually chocolate). However, in contrast to Japan, men generally purchase lollipops or other hard candies for the holiday. Chocolate gift sets are also sold for the holiday, but the majority of the gifts sets are filled with hard candies.
IMFACT is a South Korean boy band under Star Empire Entertainment formed in 2016. "IMFACT" is a combination of “impact” and “I’m fact” meaning the group will impact the music industry and produce honest, truthful music for their fans. Their debut mini-album Lollipop released on January 27, 2016.
