Job Seekers Spend an Average of 12 Months Searching

According to a recent report by Statistics Korea, resident between the ages of 15-29 in Korea, spend an average of 12 months while seeking employment.  This statistic is up one month from the year before.  This figure is the largest time people have searched for employment since 2006. 

According to the report, the elderly are also facing more financial pressure. Some 60 percent of seniors between the ages of 55 and 79 said they wanted to find jobs to help support their families.
