JYJ's Jaejoong offered male lead in Korean remake of 'Jane the Virgin'

JYJ's Jaejoong is to return to acting after approximately 2 years!
According to reports on July 23, Jaejoong was offered the male lead for the Korean remake of American TV show, 'Jane the Virgin'!
If he takes the part, the will take the role of Han Ji Hoon, the heir to a popular hotel franchise. His character is described as a textbook, "bad boy" type. He is married but about to become single and carries scars from overcoming his cancer in the past.
Jaejoong's company, C-JeS Entertainment, responded, "It's true that he received an offer for Channel A's 'Jane the Virgin', and he is looking over the script."
The Korean remake of 'Jane the Virgin' will most likely revolve around the story of a woman who lived to protect her virginity as a promise to her grandmother. However, due to a doctor's mistake, she becomes "pregnant."
The drama is set to air in December.
