KARA's Seungyeon appeared on the October 15th installment of KBS 2TV's '1 vs. 100' and talked about her past, revealing that she attended a renowned American high school.

She said, "I'm embarrassed to call it a renowned high school. It was a national school and coincidentally, its ranking went up at the same time I was attending." In regards to why she did not graduate from this prestigious American high school, Seungyeon responded, "I went to an audition and later was told to come to Korea."

There were also rumors that Seungyeon was very studious. When asked about it, she said it was a bit embarrassing for her to say it herself, but she eventually revealed, "The highest ranking I achieved was number one."

Seungyeon attended Tenafly High School in Tenafly, New Jersey for nearly 2 years. During the years Seungyeon attended, the school held a high rank nationally and received the Blue Ribbon School Award.
