That’s right, we’re at the end of the year, and that means it’s time for the Billboard’s year-end charts release. Just a few days ago on the 13th, Billboard’s “2013 Year End Chart” was announced, and coming in 9th place with BigBang’s G-Dragon!
This achievement marks the first time a Korean singer has made it to the charts. It’s only a given that after the charts were released, G-Dragon received even more attention for his place in the rankings.
G-Dragon’s 2013 momentum started with his second full solo album, titled “Coup D’Etat,” which gained heavy traction from fans everywhere, including Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and in the States.
The pop singer has gone so far to receive a number of honorable reviews in additional media outlets, such as Men’s magazine, Complex, and the New York Times. These publications really emphasize just how much of the spotlight G-Dragon holds outside of Asia as well.
G-Dragon is currently performing for BigBang Japan six dome tour, grasping even more attention from his beloved fans.
