Kim Soo Hyun Reportedly Earned $81 Million USD in China for 2014

Chinese news media outlet Yangtse Wanbao Nanjing Newspaper revealed on November 21st that actor Kim Soo Hyun earned 500 million yuan (approximately $81 million USD) in China this year alone through his many endorsement deals.

Yangtse Wanbao commented, "Kim Soo Hyun, who is presently receiving the most love calls in China, is solely at the top when it comes to foreign stars." They continued, "He drew in explosive interest this year while filming 'You Who Came from the Stars' and has been chosen as a CF model for over 30 brands."

Kim Soo Hyun reportedly earns 1 billion won (approximately $900,000 USD) per commercial film that he participates in. If the brand advertisement gets exported to China or Japan, he earned about 1.5 to 2 billion won each time (approximately $1.3 to $1.8 million USD).
