Koo Dae-sung to Coach Australia-Based Korean Baseball Team

Koo Dae-sung, a former pitcher for the Hanwha Eagles, will manage the inaugural all-Korean team in the Australian Baseball League.
After his retirement from professional baseball in Korea, Koo played for the Sydney Blue Sox in Australia while also serving as a pitching coach.
Koo will lead the team consisting of 30 Korean players, whose roster will be finalized in time to compete in the 2018-19 Australian baseball season, which runs from November to February next year.
The team will be based in Geelong, a port city 75 km southwest of Melbourne.
