Korea Wins Gold in Badminton at 2014 Incheon Asian Games

Korea bagged a gold medal in the men's badminton team event in the Incheon Asian Games on Tuesday as it faced off against China in the final. This was Korea's first gold in the event in 12 years.
With Son Wan-ho winning the first game in the singles event 2-1, the duo of Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-sung dominated the second game 23-21 and 21-13 for a 2-0 win.
Korea needed one more win for gold but China came storming back and won the next two matches. In the end, Lee Hyun-il came to the rescue, winning the final match 21-18.
