Korean Movie Roaring Currents Plays in North America

The hit Korean movie blockbuster Roaring Currents has been released in North America. Roaring Currents broke all records to become the most viewed movie of all time in Korea. According to distributor CJ Entertainment, the film earned over US$560,000 in just three days after its premiere in North America last Friday.
The flick, which depicts Admiral Yi Sun-shin's famous naval victory against the Japanese in the 16th century, is currently being screened in 30 cinemas in major cities across the U.S. including New York and Seattle.
