Korean Trade Official Abducted in Libya is Back Home Safe

According to a foreign ministry in Korea, the Korean trade official who was kidnapped in Libya has been returned safe, although it is not reported on how that information was made. A ministry official said the government is preparing for any developments but cannot say whether the act was politically motivated.
Han Seok-woo, head of the local branch of the state-run Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, were abducted by four armed men on his way home from work. The identity of Han's abductors is not yet known, but there is speculation that Al Qaeda may have been involved.
