Lee Byung Hun Cast in Hollywood Movie ‘The Magnificent Seven’

Actor Lee Byung Hun has been cast in the Hollywood movie ‘The Mangiest Seven’. BH Entertainment confirmed the casting to TV Daily on May 6, and also added, "Lee Byung Hun's character name is Billy Rocks. Other than that, there are no more released details. From an overseas report, Lee Byung Hun's character is good with his hands and is bound to a slave contract."
The film is a remake of the popular 1960 film directed by John Sturges, and the remake will be released through MGM and Sony Pictures. The 1960 'The Magnificent Seven' was about a group of 7 assassins/gunmen who protected a Mexican town from outlaws. But the remake is reported to center around a mining town that has been taken over by a gold baron. The film will also star Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke to name a few.
Lee Byung Hun is a South Korean actor and martial artist. A popular and acclaimed actor in South Korea, he is best known for Joint Security Area (2000), A Bittersweet Life (2005),The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008), the television series Iris (2009) I Saw the Devil (2010), and Masquerade (2012). In the U.S., he is known for Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009) and its sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), and RED 2 (2013). He will be portraying the T-1000 in the upcoming Terminator Genisys (2015). Lee, along with Ahn Sung-ki, are the first Korean actors to imprint their hand and foot prints on the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
