FNC Entertainment the agency that features a ton of top idol groups as FT ISLAND, CNBLUE, AOA, and more, has gained a ton of attention since it was reported that the agency opened their third school in Ecuador. The agency opened up “Love FNC School” in San Borondon, Ecuador on October 23rd and it will follow the two initial schools in providing education towards unprivileged children in poor countries.
The “Love FNC School” project began in 2012 in Burkina Faso due to CNBLUE’s efforts and their very generous donations. The second school was built in 2013 in the Philippines. A representative from FNC spoke to the press and said, "57 percent of the population in these regions are not economically active and according to a population census of unemployed laborers and single mothers in the area, the issue of developing an infrastructure to help children's studies is the most pressing."
In the meantime, FNC Entertainment received an award for “Most Contribution to Society” from the “7th Annual KOSDAQ Award” event in June 2015.
