Mnet Releases Full Clip on Pranking Girl’s Day Hyeri on ‘New Yang Nam Show’

Mnet’s New Yang Nam Show recently received sharp criticism regarding their recent episode where Girl’s Day members were pranked. Girl’s Day member Hyeri was revealed to have won the lottery jackpot on the show.  The show ended leading viewers to believe that the win was real. Girl’s Day’s agency, Dream T Entertainment even confirmed the win. It was eventually revealed that the win was a prank leaving many fans furious.  The producers apologized, however, many were still left displeased. On the April 13 broadcast, the producers of 'New Yang Nam Show' once again apologized for causing concerns and confusion with the hidden camera prank on Hyeri. 

Girl’s Day is a South Korean girl group formed by Dream Tea Entertainment in 2010. The group currently consists of four members: Sojin, Minah, Yura and Hyeri. In release order, the group's biggest hits include "Twinkle Twinkle", "Hug Me Once", "Expect", "Something" and "Darling", all of which have sold more than 1 million digital copies each.
