On July 8, more than 45,000 people attended the ‘SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL’ at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
This was the first time ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ took place in Korea since 2014, with an enormous attendance. On this day, SM Entertainment’s artists such as EXO, Red Velvet, TVXQ’s Yunho, f(X)’s Luna, NCT, Henry, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, TRAX, BoA, Kangta, and much more performed at the concert.
‘SMTOWN LIVE’ started back in 2008 targeting major cities such as Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, and others. As the first ever Korean act to hit the European scene and having shows in Paris to sell out in 15 minutes back in 2011, it was another one for the history books. The show consisted of a variety of performances that showcased all different music genres: EDM, dance, pop, ballad, and much more to total 52 different performances.
