Paradise City, a new casino complex near Incheon International Airport, has welcomed over 300,000 visitors for a flutter in the 100 days since it opened.
A Paradise City spokesman said on Thursday some 310,000 people had visited the complex, which opened on April 20. It currently runs a casino, hotel and convention center.
It aims to attract families by eventually combining gambling facilities with a large shopping mall and other attractions.
The mall, a boutique hotel, a health spa and other facilities will open in the first half of next year.
"Since the first part opened, about 90 percent of hotel rooms have been occupied," said Kye Jung-hyun of Paradise City. "The second part is 55 percent finished. Once it's complete, the complex will emerge as a leading tourist attraction in Northeast Asia."
