Satellite images show a mock-up of South Korea's presidential office completely destroyed by bombing practice, VOA reported Monday.
Commercial satellite image provider Airbus published images of the Cheong Wa Dae dummy on the outskirts of Pyongyang in comparison with pictures of the still-intact mock-up taken last year.
Pictures of the area shot in May and October last year show a structure looking exactly like Cheong Wa Dae, but in those taken on April 22 it is almost completely destroyed except for the front facade.
The North's state media recently said special operations troops and helicopters practiced attacking the facility in December while leader Kim Jong-un looked on.
The images also show a V-shaped track and a straight track about 700 m north of the mock-up.
They look like a test site for a laser- or wire-guided anti-tank missile, and construction is complete or nearly complete, according to defense analyst Nick Henson of Stanford University.
