North Korean Media Declares Uncle’s Execution as Achievement for Kim Jong Un

North Korea's state-run media on Monday touted the execution of Kim Jong-un's uncle Jang Song-taek as among the major achievements of the young leader over the last three years.
The official [North] Korean Central News Agency said enemies of the state were "ferreted out and pulverized." The Rodong Sinmun daily said the North could experience tougher times and reminded North Koreans of the need to "mercilessly inform on traitors of the revolution."
KCNA also touted as Kim's achievements a space rocket launch and farm reforms that allotted some plots to individual farmers, as well as the designation of special economic zones, construction of a ski resort in Masikryong and other developments.
