Organizers of the World Economic Forum in Davos have revoked an invitation to a delegation from North Korea. Spokesman Yann Zopf on Wednesday said the WEF invited North Korea in the autumn but decided to revoke now the reclusive state is subject to further sanctions after its fourth nuclear test this month.
But he added that North Koreans will still be welcome in the future if the regime "acts as a responsible and responsive member of the international community." North Korea had purportedly planned to send Foreign Minister Ri Su-yong to the forum next week.
