Tired of the run-of-the-mill cafes? Well, if you ever find yourself in Korea, be sure to check out these uniquely themed cafes that will make you never want to go to a normal cafe again!


Have you ever wanted to drink out of a toilet? Well, if you have, you must go to Ddo-Ong Cafe! This poop-themed cafe situated in Insadong serves poop shaped pastries and lattes in toilet bowls. Get ready to eat some tasty shit.

We all know that Korea has cat cafes and dog cafes, but did you know there is also a raccoon cafe?!  Blind Alley Cafe is the home for three adorable raccoons, and you can pet them after you’ve enjoyed your delicious beverage. Since raccoons are nocturnal beings, try going to the cafe during the night, so you won’t run the risk of seeing sleepy raccoons.


If raccoons are not your style, Thanks Nature Cafe may be more of your speed. Located in the basement of a building in Hongdae, this cafe may be easily missed. But, if you find it, you’ll be in for a treat! Thanks Nature Cafe is home to two adorable sheep that will have you wanting to scream, “It’s so FLUFFY!” at the sight of them.


You will need to clear up some storage on your phone to make room for the hundreds of pictures you’re going to take when you visit this flower-themed cafe. Blüte Cafe is a beautiful cafe with a rustic charm. Get ready to take A LOT of intsa-worthy pictures!!

Located in Gyeongsan, the cafe makes your wizard sensations tingle with its array of Harry Potter decorations and accessories.
