[OP-ED] Korean actors when they debuted VS now!

Korean actors sometimes seem so perfect and handsome that you can forget they were also normal people once. Once they made their debut on TV they started to blossom into the drool-worthy actors we have come to know and love. These pictures really show how far they have come as actors, but also how little they have aged!

1. Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho made his debut in the drama Secret Campus in 2006. He played a high schooler depicting the many emotional and mental struggles a high schooler experiences. His latest work is a Chinese movie called Bounty Hunters which was released this year. He is also going to star in an upcoming drama with Jun Ji Hyun called The Legend of the Blue Sea. 

2. Kim Soo Hyun

Kim Soo Hyun made his debut as an actor in the Korean sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile. He won over audiences with his cute looks and charming smile. His most recent drama was Producers where he starred alongside IU as an awkward new producer. His next release is a film called Real set to come out in early 2017.

3. Lee Jong Suk

Lee Jong Suk debuted as an actor in 2010 with a role in Prosecutor Princess. Although he started as a model, his dream was to be an actor. Soon after Prosecutor Princess, he got another role in the highly popular drama Secret Garden, which helped him rise to fame. Today, he is starring in a new drama called W where he plays a character in a comic merging with the real world. 

4. Ji Sung

Ji Sung made his debut in the campus drama KAIST in 1999, which means he has been acting for 17 years! He started out playing a lot of smaller roles but soon started to snag bigger roles in dramas like All In. Now, he is a household name and most recently starred in the drama Entertainer playing a manager of an entertainment company.

5. Song Joong Ki

Although we now know him as the leading star in multiple dramas, Song Joong Ki actually made his debut in a film called A Frozen Flower. He played some smaller roles but his breakthrough role was in Sungkyunkwan Scandal. From there he rose to fame and landed his first lead role in The Innocent Man which reached worldwide success. Most recently, he starred as a soldier in another insanely popular drama Descendants of the Sun.
