Park Bo Gum and Irene Leave Music Bank MC’s

KBS’ Music Bank has announced that Park Bo Gum and Red Velvet’s Irene will be leaving the show as MC’s.  Park Bo Gum and Irene, who have been MCs since May of 2015 for the past 13 months, have decided to leave 'Music Bank' due to their busy schedules. We have been discussing [their] leave after determining that it would be difficult for them to continue MC-ing on live broadcasts due to drama filmings, etc, and recently came to the final conclusion. We are currently in the process of selecting their replacement MCs." 

Music Bank is a South Korean music television program broadcast by Korean Broadcasting System (KBS). It airs live every Friday at 17:00 KST. As of 2015, it is broadcast in 100 different countries through KBS World. Since May 2015, it is hosted by Red Velvet's Irene and Park Bo-gum. It is broadcast from the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. Past hosts include Rain, Song Hye-kyo, Song Joong-ki, Ji Sung and Park Seo-joon.
