Park In-bee and Lydia Ko will clash at a LPGA Tour event in Korea this week. The LPGA KEB-Hana Bank Championship, which is the only LPGA Tour event held in Korea, will begin its four-day run on Thursday at a golf course in Incheon. Park and Ko have an intense rivalry, taking the top spots in various rankings this season -- world rankings, LPGA Tour money list, Player of the Year and scoring average.
Until a few months ago, Park was likely to sweep all the honors, but now it is uncertain who will rise to the top, as Park is closely trailed by Ko. Their rivalry is likely to continue at least until the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next year, which will include golf as part of the competition for the first time in 112 years. "I think that rivalry helps me keep trying harder," Park said. "I want to do my best to show a good performance, although people might be more interested in who will claim the top spot," Ko said.
