Park Shi-eun spoke to International Bnt about what it was like acting alongside such a star-studded cast in the SBS series “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo.”
Park, who played Lady Hae, praised her on-screen husband Kang Ha-neul for his “positive energy” in portraying Prince Wang Wook.
“Kang always smiles when filming, regardless of what conditions he was under,” she said. “I always wondered what the indefinite source of his positive energy was.”
In the interview, she described actor Nam Joo-hyuk, who played Prince Baek-ah, as a friendly yet professional junior.
“In the first day, he was a friendly junior who told me acting in a period series was a demanding job, and when shooting began, he was fully immersed into his character,” she said.
During the interview Park described singer-actress Lee Ji-eun, who played Park‘s cousin Hae-soo, as a woman with a “self-effacing personality.”
Park, who featured in five episodes, called “Scarlet Heart: Ryeo” a “turning-point” in her 10-year acting career.
