Park Shin Hye Donates W50 Million for Families in Need of Coal Briquettes

The lovely Park Shin Hye has donated W50 million for families in need of coal briquettes.  According to Babsang Community Welfare Foundation, the actress donated 50 million KRW (~ 45,000 USD) for 83,340 coal briquettes. Each family in need will be provided 150 briquettes, which means 556 families will be staying warm for a whole month thanks to Park Shin Hye. 

Park Shin Hye is a South Korean actress and singer. She made her acting debut in the Korean drama Stairway to Heaven (2003). In 2006, she starred in the South Korean-Japanese series Tree of Heaven and later received acclaim for her leading roles in the television dramas You're Beautiful (2009), Heartstrings (2011), Flower Boys Next Door (2013), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014–2015) and Doctor Crush(2016). In 2015, Park was included in Forbes list of "40 Most Powerful Celebrities" in Korea. The success of Park's television dramas internationally established her as a top Hallyu star.
