A long-lasting, healthy and happy marriage requires real work. But in Korea most of that work is still being done by women. A report from Statistics Korea shows how household chores are distributed among married couples in 12 different countries.
Based on data from the International Social Survey Programme, the survey took six different tasks into account, including grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and caring for family members who are ill. Korean husbands were second to last in terms of pulling their own weight, only ahead of their Japanese counterparts.
